Vegas 09: Jean Philippe Patisserie (May-June)

Jean Philippe Patisserie
The Bellagio isn't only about fountains and buffets, they also have the world's largest chocolate fountain (on display only) at the Jean Philippe Patisserie. Fancy delicious dessert delivered in a cafeteria-like manner.
Beautiful cakes on display.
Rose Macaroon. (edible rose petal)
The Imperial.

Vegas 09: Sushi Samba (May-June)

Sushi Samba Vegas
I have been DYING to go to this since I heard about it on Sex and the City. The decor is funky, the food is excellent and unique. They really do fuse Japanese food with Brazilian. Next time I am ordering more. The server's are very knowledgeable and whatever they recommend will be delicious. This restaurant is located in The Venetian on the upper floor walk way.
Sweet Plantain

Yellowtail seviche taquitos with spicy aji panca sauce and lime

Kumamoto oyster

BoBo Brazil, Veggie Kun, Samba strip roll

Vegas 09: Burger Bar

Burger Bar
Located in the walkway towards Mandalay Bay, this is my favourite gourmet burger joint.
Everything is a la carte. I built a Kobe beef burger, on an onion bun with swiss cheese and pesto.
Zucchini fries
Yam fries (sorry about the blurriness)
Vegan Smoothie. He he he like the irony? The whipped cream is made from soy.

Vegas 09: La Crêperie

La Crêperie located in Paris hotel, makes the most fantastic crepes I've ever had. One Savoury, one sweet. Normally I don't enjoy crêpes but these had very interesting flavours.

The first: Forestiere
Essentially a veggie crepe, but quite filling. Spiniach, mushrooms, boursin cheese mozzarella, basil and bechamel sauce.
The second: D'Anjou
Pears, walnuts, almond paste, whipped cream and caramel sauce

Vegas 09: Chinois

Chinois: ANOTHER Wolfgang Puck restaurant.
Located in the forum shoppes at Caesar's Palace, this asian-fusion cuisine reigns supreme! Okay, too much Iron chef. We ordered a few appy's that were absolutely delicious. My favourite being the beef short ribs.

Vegas 09: Pampas Brazilian Grille (Planet Hollywood) (No photos sorry)

Best. Restaurant. Ever. For Brazillian BBQ that is.
The reason why I don't have food pictures is because our table was small and the food just kept coming I had no time to snap photos.
The salad bar was above average, and I tried hearts of palm for the first time.
Ali (being the queen of finding great deals) lead us to this fine restaurant through lining up at the free slot machine for Planet Hollywood Casino. Playing the free slot, lead to signing up for a players club and thus receiving a fabulous coupon book that knocked off the price for Pampas Brazilian BBQ. It's located in the Miracle mile shops and has a very den like feel to the restaurant. Our server had to be one of the best ones I have ever encountered. He was very attentive and polite. But what really made him outstanding was the fact that he went out of his way to find me the meat that I wanted. I couldn't remember which one it was, I described the taste, and whether it be luck or not, he brought it! (Pineapple was also served and was delicious)
I enjoyed the slices of meat at this restaurant the most as they slice long thin strips, but will offer to cut it thicker if you would like. Bolero likes to cut it short and thick, Gaucho does it long and thin, Pampas does it just right!

Vegas 09: Bellagio Buffet

1 of 2 buffets we did in Vegas. This was so fantastic. I probably went through 6 plates, I only took pictures of the ones that looked aesthetically pleasing.

Chocolate mousse, cheesecake, banana's foster, bread pudding, creme brulee
This was a spicy pesto seafood dish that was fried in a pan, poured into the cylindrical pastry then baked in the oven.
