Wailana Coffee house is opened 24 hours a day. Located right across from the Hilton Hawaiian Village, this restaurant looks like your typical greasy spoon diner but with more interesting menu items. I was in the mood for something savoury, but there are many sweet items including all you can eat pancakes and fruits galore. I ordered the Korean short ribs that came with soup, 'green giant' mixed vegetables, and fried rice. The fried rice was very interesting, it had a very sweet unidentifiable taste, as well as bbq pork in the mix. My cousin ordered the open faced hot turkey sandwich. Service was okay, but business is definitely bustling at 1 in the morning. There is a karaoke lounge attached where we could hear the vocal styling of some locals.
