My friend introduced me to this adorable earthy cafe.
Typical daily specials on a chalkboard, like any college adjacent cafe's I have been to.

Again, I am impressed that food here is so inexpensive!
Photobucket
Mushroom Pizza and American Iced Tea (unsweetened)
Photobucket
Broccoli Pizza, massive, the dough is actually foccacia bread
Photobucket
Rhubarb pie (They ran out of sour cherry, though this one was massively delicious)

My friend ready to dive bomb into the piece of pie.

The New Tuna (which is tuna salad btw)
White chunk tuna, celery, red onion, mayo, basil, plum tomato, and provolone on Vienna bread

MY FAVOURITE: Gorgonzola and caramelized onion croissant
Photobucket
Almond croissant.  Started out really good, then the almond paste mixture got a little too thick.

Special: Lobster roll with Lobster bisque.
Best roll ever.  $20+ may seem pricey, but this roll is loaded with lobster meat.  The Lobster bisque is very good too. The Oyster bar has a small bar like area to eat, but it's great because it is difficult to find a place to sit in the main circular foyer.

Pretty normal fare for K-Bbq. A bit pricey but decent.

A little different because the server actually cooked it for you.  Not sure if this is just an automatic thing for the restaurant or if they thought we didn't know what we were doing.

Tavern in the Square-Central [Boston 2011]

Let's not even talk about how Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals went.
Tavern in the Square [Central] is a sports pub chain with fairly decent food.
Fast forward to the food.
Risotto Fritters:
Parmesan risotto stuffed with pesto and mozzarella lightly breaded and fried. Served with tomato cream sauce and baby arugula. Reminds me a bit of the ones I had at The Cheesecake Factory.

Southwest Taco Salad:
Grilled blackened chicken, mixed lettuce, black beans, sweet corn, sliced avocado and scallions, topped with pico de gallo and sour cream.  Served in a crispy tortilla shell with a side of ranch dressing.
Fabulous salad. Blackened chicken really packs a kick.

Pilgrim
Ground turkey burger topped with bacon and Monterrey Jack cheese

Fried Snickers:
2 Snickers bars wrapped in a crispy shell, deep fried and topped with chocolate sauce with vanilla ice cream.
While the description sounds fantastic.  The actual dessert was pretty disgusting. Sorry Tavern. No points for this one. Except for the ice cream.  There was this fondant like layer inside, tasted a bit plastic.  Nice presentation though.  Sadly it was bad.

Sarku japan (Mall sushi)

I don't usually take pictures of food court food, but this is my proof that mall sushi can be good.
This is a Tiger roll: Ebi and tempura shrimp roll.  Taste is pretty normal, but this is a nice presentation for the mall (Cambridge Galleria).
